VW/Audi/Skoda/Seat Rear Wiper Puller

I designed a puller for the rear wiper as it is stuck pretty tight on the motor shaft.

It should be suitable for the same type of VAG type rear wiper. I used it on a Skoda Octavia 1Z5 2008. VW, Seat, Skoda and Audi might use a similar or the same type.

You need an M8 bolt and nut with a suitable head. I suggest hex but I personally used philips as well.

Printing Instructions

Use suitable material. PLA can be used for a fit/print test but might not work. Avoid silk filament as the layers do not adhere too well. I had success with PETG, so the printing instructions reflect that experience.

• 10+ Perimeters
• Infill 25% cubic
• No/Low part cooling fan for strong layer adhesion (I used 20%)
• 0.4mm nozzle @ 0.2mm layer height

Instructions for use

ALWAYS USE SAFETY GEAR AS THE PARTS CAN COME APART RIGEROUSLY!

• remove the nut of the wiper with an size 13 key
• insert the puller under the wiper and screw the nut until its holding firmly
• spray the connection with WD-40
• increase the tension slightly and tap the nut with a hammer carefully
• increase the tension, if you hear the layers cracking its enough pressure
• after a while the wiper comes off

DO NOT USE EXTENSIVE PRESSURE! The puller just exerts a constant force and is not suitable for removing the wiper with force!
