Battery Spacer for KLX-300

The original rubber spacer underneath the FTZ7S starter battery in a 2022 Kawasaki KLX-300 dual-sport motorcycle is slightly too thick to fit an aftermarket battery with model/size code YTZ7S (see photos).  The original battery is about 1/8" shorter than the aftermarket battery I got, that was supposed to fit.  So, with the original rubber spacer, the battery would have to be forced into the compartment, probably breaking the plastic frame of the compartment or possibly cracking the battery.  Instead of trying to trim down the original spacer, I made this model to print a right-sized replacement spacer.

This is a printable part that is just slightly shorter, making the aftermarket battery fit perfectly.  It could be scaled on the z-axis to adjust for other batteries that are a close, but not quite right, fit.

Printed in TPU to approximate the softness of the original rubber spacer.
