The holes are 4.3 mm to fit a threaded rod.

Added a ‘thumb button' for the real Rick Gun.  Morty fake gun has a Hammer, still working on finding one to add.

I put holes into the top slider, haven't glued yet, but thinking I can glue the top sections only and it will still slide back and forth.  Also had a 2nd thought about putting a slide hole in the top part so the two sides can be glued together through that hole.  

One more thing I thought about doing was splitting the trigger to not have to paint it black.  

Other not done:

Cut trigger out for a different color print.

“hammer” for the fake gun to be screen accurate, still looking for a hammer that matches.
