Description
Based on the great work by boubounokefalos in his Ender 3 to Switchwire conversion. I adapted the y-axis cable chain to work with the Ender 3 Pro (v2 also). It reduces the space allowance we need at rear, especially if you want to place the printer into an enclosure.
No need to remove the bed or disassemble anything. Just slide the front and back parts of the chain carrier around the existing bearing spacers and tighten with screws to secure. I've attached photos that will hopefully make everything easy enough to follow.
You will need to use one M5 screw, one M5 T-nut, nine M3 countersunk screws as well as eleven 3mm heat set inserts. Follow the pics for where they should go.
The chain is a generic 10x11 cable chain from Aliexpress. I used 17 segments (not including the brackets at the 2 ends.
The bed thumb screws are from boubounokefalos' Github repository.
There are also shims which you can print if the clearances of your screws get in the way.
You can also use the bed spacer to raise things up a bit or change to slightly shorted bed screws. I raised mine to make space for insulation to clear my Y stepper motor.
These 3 links are normally the cheapest I've found for the cable chains. Just check for stock and sales. Do note they are affiliate links, but will not cost you extra. I get a few cents for my time if you buy using them. Thanks!

Side note, I believe the Ender 3 (non-pro) has a different hole spacing for the bearings. I'd be happy to adapt this if you could just send me the dimensions and do the testing. Thanks again!
