Subaru Outback (Gen 6) Cargo Area Light Upgrades

A revision of the light upgrade by Justin Lamply with a black frame and transparent lens. Rear unit also converted to star board. Both parts are connected with a drop of superglue. Lenses needs support.

After I was unable to connect the additional LEDs to the existing interior light circuit, a completely autonomous solution was implemented. 

Since the existing interior light control is faded out via a PWM signal, I couldn't get a relay or optocoupler to work. As a solution, a Meanwell LED driver was permanently connected to a cable located in the trunk lid plus 12V line (pink) and ground. 

Power led in series with led out. The controller has a standby pin which, when pulled to ground, deactivates the module. This runs via a reed contact in the right door panel.
