14. April 2025: added the Information that it also fits on the Prusa XL xLCD.
18. November 2024: removed the minimally longer diffusor file because the updatet fits well for PLA and PETG.
Added the .stl files for the diffuser as recomended by @perform3d, to make it printable in one part for MM-users and also added the xLCD_LED_frame_diffusor.3mf file.
In order to obtain a diffuser that is as transparent as possible, the perimeter value should be set to 7
14. November 2024 (obsolete) : added 0.2mm shorter diffusor .3mf for easier fitment when printed with PLA.
This is a remix of the Original Prusa XL/MK4 RGB Status LED Diffuser xLCD from @perform3d
It is designed to fit on the molded xLCD cover from the Prusa XL/MK4S
printing recommendations:
0.20mm Structural, 0.4 nozzle, 7 perimeter
Diffuser frame PETG black
Diffuser PETG clear (transparent)
Make sure the xReflector sticker is present on the front cover, otherwise the LED light will be very dim.
Installation:
Power off the XL/MK4S
Remove the xLCD from the frame
Remove the two lower screws (3x8sT) on the backside
Assemble the diffuser to the frame
Attach the diffuser frame to the backside with two screws 3x12sT
Mount the xLCD to the frame
Power on the XL/MK4S, enjoy the status LED light
