Hyundai Ioniq 5 Charge Port Highlighter

Add this charge port highlight for your North American Hyundai Ioniq 5 to make it easier to see the charge port at night, especially with the bright charge indicator LEDs to the right that wreck night vision.

Print instructions

Recommend PETG or ABS because the charging port can get warm.  PLA would probably work.

The model is 0.6mm thick, so print with 3 layers at 0.2mm.  

Cautions: 

1. Wait for the print to fully cool or you may get a warped print
2. Be very careful removing the print from the build plate as it can easily break.  I recommend sliding something under the edge and going around slowly releasing the print.  I used my fingernail, though a thin putty knife would work too.

Installation Instructions

1. Cut a couple small pieces of double-sided tape/foam and adhere to the back (it's symmetric so either side can be the back)
2. Open Charge Port Door
3. Remove the DC Fast Charging Plug
4. Peel the backing off the tape (if applicable)
5. Align Charge Port Highlighter around the charging port. Pay attention to the connector for the DC Fast Charging Plug
6. Firmly press the Charge Port Highlighter
7. Return the DC Fast Charging Plug
8. Press the Close button to close the Charge Port Door
