Stand for cheap usb microscope

I printed the original stand, but it was too wobbly and jank, so I remixed it.

Parts needed:

2x M4 countersunk screws L=12-20 mm

4x M3 countersunk screws L=8-12 mm

2x M3 button/socket head screws L=12-20 mm

2x M3 countersunk screws L=20-30 mm

Parts to print:

1x base_V2

1x pillow_block_V2

1x pillow_block_V2_mirrored

1x rack_rail_high_M4

1x scope_carriage_V2_snap

1x drive gear

2x Wheel

Assembly:

1) Mount the pillow block on the carriage with drive gear in between them with 4x M3 countersunk screws L=8-12 mm

2) Slide the wheels on the carriage and screw in the 2x M3 countersunk screws L=20 mm. Do not overtighten these!

3) Put 2x M3 button/socket head screws L=12-20 mm into the pillow block. These screws adjust the tension in the gearing system. You might not need to tighten them at first.

4) Mount the rack into the base ussing 2x M4 countersunk screws L=12-20 mm.

5) Slide the carriage onto the rail.

Changes:

Base:

1. Larger
2. Thicker
3. Better tolerance for the rail
4. Holes for M4 screws
5. Holes for M3 heat inserts to mount additional hardware (lights, crocodile clips)
6. Differenet design

Pillow block:

1. Split design for better tension adjustment
2. Better tolerances

Scope carriage:

1. Complete redesign
2. Very tight tolerance for no wobble
3. Added ribs for higher stiffness
4. Snap on mount

Rack rail:

1. Only remade the holes for M4 screws

Drive gear and wheels are unchanged

These dimensions worked for me, but might not work for you. Let me know, if you have issues.
