Wrapping Paper Cutter- Geschenkpapierschneider

Please read the description to the end before downloading!

This is a remix and redesign of the "Wrapping Paper Cutter, utility knife 2.0!", https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5158937.

I have a pack of 70mm long carpet knife blades, and I have redesigned the tool to fit them.

Before downloading and printing, please test whether your blades cut paper well!

To assemble you need

- a carpet knife blade 70mm x 19mm x 0.6mm, like this one here: https://grabcad.com/library/carpet-knife-blade-70mm-x-19mm-x-0-6mm-1

- and a screw M3, cylinder head screw or flat head screw. For ø50: 12mm long, for ø60: 12 to 16mm long.

matty82 (Thingiverse) has requested a cutter with a diameter of 50mm. Here it is.

Thanks matty82 for his remarks and suggestions.
Now I have revised - and hopefully optimized - both sizes, 60mm and the new 50mm diameter.

• The blade has moved upwards and a little inwards, twisted so that it is more tangential to the diameter.
• some minor optimations for better printing and assembling.
• all new models are also available as step and parasolid.
• the old, first version is still available in the archive.zip.

February 21, 2025:
After a request from user ‘schmerzbereiter’ I have added new versions for a 61mm blade.
Attention: I don't have such blades and can't test if everything fits and works, I only have the information from schmerzbereiter for the 61mm blade.
To avoid confusion, I have renamed the files and uploaded them all again.
Important: Nothing has been changed in the versions with the 70mm blade (except the file name)!

File naming system:
Papierschneider Dxx-Klingeccmm-partname
where:

xx = inner diameter, 50mm or 60mm
cc = blade length, 61mm or 70mm
partname = Part name: "Ring" or "Verschluss"
