Description
So you are a photographer with serious photography skills and tripods everywhere.
Or maybe you spend your time making TikTok dances while being in your 40's?
Nice! You do you, as long as you're happy and follow the Cardamom Law!
But moving tripods around isn't smooth now is it?
Don't fear, an adapter is here!
Once again my wife has had another idea about something that would make her life slightly better while tattooing.
And as such, the idea is described to me in very general terms: “I would like something that attaches this wheel to this tripod leg.” and then she joins them together with a “boof” sound effect. Picture it with your wonderful imagination.
For me it is a fun small challenge.
So to not disappoint the missus, I made the Tripod-Adapter-Boot 2000.
It is made for a standard 20mm round tripod leg, and comes in two versions and two different angles; one M8 and one M10 nut size for where to fasten the wheel.
To fasten the adapter to the tripod legs, you use M8 nuts and bolts, and print the nice wing nut adapter to save you from having to have a wrench in your pocket at all times.
Now; What you use the Tripod-Adapter-Boot 2000 for and what you fasten to it, that is up to you. The Missus has used it to attach wheels and some kind of foot to to make one of the cheep tripods more steady. Use your imagination like its 1995, and you will prosper.
I hope you find the model useful. If you do, please drop a like.
If you love the model, and it also made your life slightly better, please consider taking a picture and upload so I can enjoy it too.
Edit: By popular demand, I made one of those feet to attach to the Tripod-Adapter-Boot 2000 using M8 bolts and nuts. Guess needing a little stability in ones life is universal, huh?
