54mm Motor/Engine Retainer for High Power Rockets

Update:  I modified the LOC ring to have a tighter fit.  It's still a slip-fit but wont move on you when placing/epoxying.

I initially created these for my Wildman Punisher 3 model.  Recently, I've received several requests for LOC/Precision motor mount tubes, so I modified the ring to accommodate those tubes.

The cap is interchangeable.  There is some design geometry on the end, so I print these facing up, with organic supports.  Be careful not to get the supports on the threads.  

These were printed in PETG with great success, but ABS, ASA, etc. will work just as well.  Just make sure your filament is heat-resistant.  The cap is expendable but should last dozens of flights before needing a replacement based on your filament choice.  YMMV.

I have confirmed that these parts fit their target counterparts and each other.
