Description
An adapter that allows you to use your headlamp as a bicycle light using the Garmin quarter turn mounting system. This practical solution lets you repurpose your headlamp for cycling while maintaining secure and easy attachment to your bike.
For this design, I used a versatile rechargeable headlamp from AliExpress that caught my attention due to its compact size and exceptional brightness. What makes it particularly suitable for cycling is its impressive battery life and powerful illumination, ensuring both safety and reliability during your rides. It serves equally well for hiking and cycling use.

Note: The headlamp used in this design is a commonly available rechargeable model that can be found on various online marketplaces. Any similar-sized headlamp should work with minor adjustments.
Update (January 2025):
After acquiring a newer 3D printer, I decided to refine the model for better precision and optimize the print orientation. The print orientation is crucial for proper functionality of the mounting mechanism, as it directly affects the strength and durability of the locking system. These modifications have resulted in improved fitment and overall print quality. The updated model maintains all the original functionality while offering enhanced manufacturing accuracy.
