Description
Revised 28 Nov 2024:
The objective of this change was to reduce filament drag by extending the PTFE tube through the connector and increase the chamfer angle so that the filament does not rub on the side of the PTFE Nut.

Initial Release:
This Filament Drybox was inspired by GunplaMark's youtube video: Dry Box Storage System for 3D Printer Filament, Updated for 2024 and Better than Ever! This approach to a small filament storage Dry Box is the best I have seen so far. Many thanks for all the effort you put into this marvelous tool.
I printed 6 sets and built up 6 Dry Boxes. I had difficulty printing the 'dessicant-bin" because of the small air circulation slots. I tried a number of alternatives in Printables.com and eventually settled on the one attached. This prints without stringing and without supports.
I also had some difficulty printing the Body without supports. With supports I was able to get a fairly acceptable end produce.
The original Drybox has the filament exit path at the top of the box. This worked well until the spool was about 20% capacity. At that point the weight of the spool was not enough to hold the spool on the rollers resulting on the spool lifting off on the end next to the exit port. This generally resulted in a jab and “Filament Stuck” message on the control panel. I remixed the body combining it with Humidity display. This causes the filament to ply downward force on the spool particularly as the spool empties. This solved the near empty filament jambs. See photos for positioning the filament exit point.
Several features incorporated in the new body are:
The original design claimed to eliminate the need for a filament buffer for Prusa MMUx installations, but I found this to cause intermittent jams. I also attempted to use this with Vorons ERCF Multi Material server and could not get it to work at all. I plan to leave the buffers in place and feed the filament from the DayBox into the buffer rather than directly to the printer/Multi Material Server.
Finally, I moved the tag holder to the position of the original exit path in part to cover up the hole I previously drilled.
