Flick Box (fidget storage to-go magnetic edc)

Meet the Flick Box — the storage box you never knew you needed. Just a flick and the lid spins open like it’s auditioning for a fidget toy commercial. Perfect for your stuff, and even better for your hands. Warning: may cause extreme fidget addiction. Store responsibly!

The lid is perfect to showcase the awesome effects from 3D Effects buildplates! Please share images of your prints!

Overview

For now i comes in 5 sizes to fit different pockets and needs - all easy to use with just 1 hand! (the dimensions are the internal space of the box):

• Tiny - 20x30x8 mm
• Mini - 28x45x11 mm
• Small - 36x60x15 mm
• Medium - 44x75x20 mm
• Large - 52x90x25 mm

All sizes use the same magnet size = Ø4x2 mm

Assembly

This should be fairly simple:

1. Insert magnets in the lid and box (4 magnets in total - glue can be used, depending on the tolerances of your printer)
2. Put the lid onto the box (if glue is used for magnets, please let it dry before putting on the lid!)
3. Start fidgetting!

Hardware needed

Not much is needed here. If you don’t have the magnets already, you can buy them on Bambu:

• 4x Round Magnets: Ø4x2 mm

Print instructions

This is pretty simple, but here is a few tips:

• Supports: No
• Brim: No not needed
• Ironing: Yes: Top surfaces - makes sliding and quality feel much better!
• Orientation: Box standing normal - lid upside-down.
