Description
I installed a double din unit in an old Toyota pickup. It's low enough that it's a pain to touch the screen to change tracks. The aftermarket steering wheel controls always feel tacked on and in the way. The next best thing is to move the controls to the next most common place for my hand: the shift knob.
This is designed to take the “Recoil” brand of bluetooth remote on amazon, but I've included the fusion file if you want to customize for a different brand, change the thread pitch, change the rotation, etc.
I've designed it with a pretty tight fit, so to charge it, I left a hole for the cable. A magnetic usb cable/tips are really handy here as you can leave the tip in the remote and snake the cable in to snap in place for charging.
