Extended Grip for Light L16 Camera

This is a grip I designed for the Light L16. I found the device, while bulky with lots to hold, was difficult to retain a positive purchase on, especially with my joints.

The grip is secured to the camera with the tripod screw. You may use a threaded heat insert to relocate the tripod mount that the grip will take the place of.

The unused accessory port is covered up by the threaded heat insert. The USB-C and 3.5mm headphone jack is also given some chamfering to make insertion easy.

There is a small 2.5mm mounting pin on the base too, that directly interfaces with the respective hole on the camera.

Print and Assembly Instructions

1. Print the model right side up, with the grip pointed up wards. (I used PLA filament.)
   1. Infill: 100%
   2. Walls: At least 4
   3. Supports: (Important) Use normal supports. 
2. Using a soldering iron, insert the heat set threaded insert into the bottom of the grip. Ensure it sits flush before allowing it to cool.
3. Place the grip onto the camera, and then use the quick screw adapter to secure it in place.
