Description
Hard to find belt/carry holsters for an H&K USP 45 Tactical I liked, especially that allow the taller sight blades. This fits my circa 2000 model, your trigger well may vary. This design also leverages common 32mm holes that fit Safariland, QLS and other mounting systems. The retention is enough for casual keeping things in place where they should be and no warranty is implied towards suitability in your situations.
I've printed in PETG and PETG-CF, using 1mm “piano wire” for the hinge. When printing in PETG-CF, using PLA for the Brim and Supports works very well. The retention slot has some minimal (.25mm) tabs that you need to break/cut/grind before use, and there are two holes for the piano wire all the way to the outer shell. Putting a wire in both provides some spring tension. Don't trim the wires flush until you don't want to pull them out again. I sanded the slot and latch lightly for smoother operation.
The button is a separate file, optional if you want a slimmer profile and/or a more discrete release and I used an M3 machine screw, an M2 will also work.
Suggest printing at 100% infill, and minimal organic supports. use a brim. See picture for suggestion.
