Description

I searched for a simple spool for my filament samples without using tons of other filaments but I just couldn't find the right one for me. So I made my own, which… escalated a bit xD

But here it is:
My modular and lightweight Filament Spool.
It needs only around 75 gramm of filament for the simplest version of a 1Kg spool!

There are a LOT of possible configurations with this spool. I also made 3 different sizes of filament clips, as I couldn't find any which fits to my spool.

I'm thinking about adding a more massive version of the side plates, if there is a need for that. But I think there are plenty of those spools out there.
However, if it's requested, I'll add them. :)

Oh and if you plan to dry your filament on it, make sure you choose a material which holds up at least the same heat as the filament on it!
(I printed mine in PETG)

I recommend using random seams for every part with threads.
