Description
A simply sturdy jar to hold individual ‘prepared’ hyacinth bulbs. Simply fill the lower part of the jar with water and sit the bulb on top; the bulb should not be floating but sat above with the base barely touching the water. After a few weeks the roots will develop and grow down into the water, you may need to top up with a little water as necessary. Keep it total darkness for a few weeks until the green tips of the leaves start to appear. Then simply remove and place in a bright spot indoors.
I print these out with 100% infill to ensure they are watertight, however you may be able to save some filament and reduce this if you adjust the number of walls. Total filament used to print solid is ~110 g, print time approx. 2.5 hr.
