Description
I was tired of having a bunch of my desk taken up by my laptop. Decided to do something about it. With this stand, you can get some space back and create an interesting dynamic at the same time. You can use it with your laptop closed or open as a second display.
In my case, I'm using a 2014 MacBook Pro plugged in to an eGPU with a GTX 1060 6gb and a 24" 1080p 75hz display. I used 4 rubber feet so the laptop doesn't rub and sits without sliding or moving around.
BE SURE TO PRINT THIS MOUNT ON ITS SIDE. This way, the layer lines are going opposite of the joints and you will not need any supports. Print slow and hot for optimal layer adhesion and this mount should be rock solid.
Note: the mount pictured is the older version, I have since updated the files to be tighter with the proper angle. This mount should fit many laptops that are similar in size.
Enjoy and post your makes!
