Description
Feb 2026: Decided to move a few of my models to public domain.
Hello!
Made this little model cause I didn't find the exact one I wanted on the first few searches.
Wasn't gonna share as it's a quick n' dirty design, but was persuaded to just in case someone else might be looking for the same thing.
Uses 20mm double-side tape, and an M6 PTFE tube fitting.
About 45 minutes to print 5 of them with a .25mm nozzle. Very likely to print just fine if using a .4mm nozzle. (more higher res layers, the better)
When screwing in the fittings, use your thumb to press onto the release as you screw it in using a wrench. This is to help keep it at a right angle so it goes in straight. (I got 2 of the 5 started wrong, and didn't notice till I fully tightened them. Still threaded just fine fixing them though, so don't worry if you miss on the first shot)
By quick n' dirty design, I mean that I didn't measure the length of the treads on the fitting. Nor did I create a smooth transition into the fitting hole. So there may be a slight gap that the tip of filament may catch on, if you do not bend it straight first.
(I also forgot to change my layer height, so that's why the print looks a bit nasty)
