SandPiper 1:8 (by Black Crow) - Modded gearbox - SCT Sidewinder

This is a modded gearbox for the SandPiper 1:8 (by Black Crow) to fit a SCT Sidewinder.

This motor is high KV (3800), so i run and 2S, with greater gear ratio, and smaller 95mm tires.

With this configuration, this is drivable, the motor is cold and the car is a beast. Battery life is good, I have 30 minutes of bashing with a 5200mah 2s battery.

This can probably be used with other motors, but it remain untested.

Build use 

• 14T motor pulley
• 54T output pulley (can be hard to find)
• 156mm GT2 belt

This use the same build process as the original gearbox. Use two M3 short screw inside the gearbox to hold the motor during assembly, and 4 M3 long screws to reach to motor through to gearbox and the cover.
