Description
needs to be ASA or ABS. this should work with Mellow 3D Official Store beds and XMSJ Stepper Motor Store / heegkqu - for voron 2.4 kit beds (seems out of stock as of 11/27/2024)
make sure to run an Axis calibration or it will not fit. I know, because i was having issues. i was 1.6 mm short on the y axis. and 0.5 on the x after printing. im guessing as this is a core xy things are backwards i had to go down not up in my rotation_distance
rotation_distance = <model size> x <current RD> / <printed size> = <value> - <current RD>= <out put>
<current RD> -<out put> = <new RD>
example:
x=100x40/99.5=40.20-40=0.20 40-0.20= 39.8
y=100x40/99.5=40.20-40=0.20 40-0.20= 39.8
z=100x40/99.5=40.20-40=0.20 40-0.20= 39.8
x=100x39.8/99.8=39.87-39.8=0.07 39.8-0.07= 39.73
y=100x39.8/99.8=39.87-39.8=0.07 39.8-0.07= 39.73
z=100x39.8/99.8=39.87-39.8=0.07 39.8-0.07= 39.73

you will also need.
3-4 4-5mm spacers of some kind. aluminum nylon asa/abs. if rubber(should be a little taller.
3-4 m3 14mm screws with hex nuts.
you will need to make a new longer ground or mount to one of the mounting locations.
100% infill if printing. snug normal supports.
this video should cover the basis of installing a voron 2.4 bed. use it as a example not a how to for this process.
i take no responsibility for any damage to your printer. be extremely careful and safe.
I'm using eddy so I needed to change this.
mesh_min: 15,20
mesh_max: 330,335
