Description

The body shell on the Robak has always been a bit of an afterthought. It was never quite perfect. Either hard to install and remove or with a tendency of popping off during landings or crashes. After trying out an SUV body in the recent v2.2, I’ve decided to switch back to a design inspired by the older Robaks but with a fresh approach. This new low-profile body integrates better with the car’s structure, featuring fully 3D printed body posts and clips while keeping things simple.

Top Features:

Lightweight Design
This new body is 70g lighter than the original v2.2, so it prints faster and boosts performance. The lower weight brings the center of mass closer to the ground, which means better acceleration, handling and stability.

Improved Mounting System
Intuitive and convenient, with fully 3D printed body posts and clips.

Post Print Instructions:

To keep the model cleaner and easier to print, the holes are not pre-printed. Instead, the design includes indicators to show where the holes should be drilled. Start with a 3mm drill bit, then use a step drill to enlarge the holes to an 8mm diameter.

Fasteners:

Use four 12mm M3 DIN 7991 screws to secure the body posts to the top deck.
