Non-Printed Parts:
- Less than 5" of 1/16" brass rod
- ~2" is kept straight and used for the hinge pin
- ~2" is bent and used as the metal lip on the back
- 8 mini neodynium magnets (2mm diameter x 1mm height)
Note that 8 magnets proved stronger than necessary, and only 4 magnets would likely be sufficient.
Postprocessing:
- Drill 1/16" hole for the hinge pin. There is an existing hole in the print, so this is simply to ensure the print tolerance is correct.
- Small amounts of super glue are your friend when attaching magnets and metal pieces
- Optionally, smooth print using sandpaper, wood filler, black spray primer, and matte black spray paint
