Description
This tool can be used to find the center line of wood planks as well as boards.
The model consists of three pieces, the main body can be already used as a the tool with limited accuracy. The pencil holder can further improve the accuracy by guaranteeing the perpendicularity of the marking tool on the surface. The sliding surface piece is a consumable that can be printed on a smooth surface to help the tool slide easily. Furthermore, a .dxf file is provided so It can be cut out of 3mm stock using a laser cutter. Maximum accuracy and smoothness can be achieved by adding ball bearings with 6mm inside diameter that are to be fastened using M3 bolts and nuts as shown in the picture.
No tolerance is added please use your trusted settings for horizontal compensation etc. based on your printer.
