Why did I design this? If you’re like me, you know the struggle: spare screws and nuts everywhere, mixing up sizes, and storage containers that just don’t work for small parts. I built this Modular Organizer to solve that problem once and for all. It fits perfectly in the drawer under my 3D printer, and I couldn’t be happier with how tidy and accessible everything is now!

- Two-color design: Achieve sharp, professional-looking labels with a simple filament change at specific layers - no MMU required.
- Stylish honeycomb option: Save some filament while adding a sleek, modern look. Or, opt for solid walls to securely hold even the smallest pieces.
Materials & Settings:
- Filament: The example is printed in Prusament PLA Prusa Orange in combination with Prusament PLA Jet Black.
- Nozzle: 0.4mm (optionally, save time with a High Flow nozzle)
- Layer height: 0.20mm for great detail and fast printing.
- Infill: 15% for strength and light weight.
Printing Tips:
- Plan your layout: Decide how you’ll organize the 9, 21 or 45 available grid spaces.
- Start with the organizer base: This prints as one piece and features the built-in corner brims for stability. You can choose between a large version (as shown in the photos with 45 compartments), a medium version or small version.
- Choose your boxes:
- Option 1: Open the 3MF with editable labels and customize the text to match your parts.
- Option 2: Use the included 3MF file with pre-defined boxes to select, hide/unhide boxes, and arrange them in PrusaSlicer before printing. There is a small list of pre-defined boxes available, the ones that I needed myself.
- Option 3: Use the STL files for blank boxes or add your own touch.
