Display Protector Organizer Box / Aufbewahrungsbox für Displayschutzfolien

Falls ihr, genauso wie ich, bei euch in der Familie dafür zuständig seid, die Displays der Smartphones eurer Verwandten mit Schutzfolien zu versehen, dann habt ihr vermutlich auch einen ganzen Haufen Boxen mit Schutzfolien und deren Zubehör herumliegen. Da meine Schublade nun mittlerweile überquoll und ich es leid war, alles was ich benötige jedes mal herauszufummeln und einzeln einzupacken, habe ich die Box von Whity angepasst, damit sie für die sichere Aufbewahrung und den Transport von Schutzfolien (oder tempered Glass) perfekt geeignet ist. Ich habe die Box so unterteilt, dass sie problemlos viele Schutzfolien aufnehmen kann und sofern die Applikatoren nicht zu groß sind, passen auch diese noch mit in die Box (siehe Bilder). Desweiteren habe ich Platz geschaffen für eine kleine UV-Lampe, die zum Aushärten des Klebers von bsp. Apple Watch tempered glass benötigt wird. Bei mir finden zudem noch kleine Webcam-Cover, MagSafe Metallringe, Feuchttücher, Mikrafasertücher, sowie Kärtchen zur Blässchenentfernung und eine anti-rutsch-matte platz. Die Unterteilung ist im Deckel ebenfalls vorhanden, damit beim Transport auch nichts sein Fach verlässt. Damit man auf Anhieb erkennt, was sich in der Box befindet, habe ich ein Logo entworfen und im Deckel eingearbeitet. Gedruckt wird alles ohne Supports. Box und Deckel, sowie Laschen druckt ihr am besten aus stabilem Material wie PLA oder PETG, die Dichtung, sofern ihr sie benötigt, druckt ihr aus TPU. Zur Montage werden dann 6x 30mm M3 Schrauben verwendet.

If you, like me, are the designated person in your family responsible for applying screen protectors to your relatives’ smartphones, then you probably also have a bunch of boxes with screen protectors and their accessories lying around. As my drawer was overflowing and I was tired of fishing out everything I needed and packing it individually every time, I modified Whity’s box to make it perfectly suited for securely storing and transporting screen protectors (or tempered glass). I divided the box so that it can easily hold multiple screen protectors, and as long as the applicators aren’t too large, they can also fit inside the box (see pictures). Additionally, I created space for a small UV lamp, which is needed to cure the adhesive for, for example, Apple Watch tempered glass. My box also has room for small webcam covers, MagSafe metal rings, wet wipes, microfiber cloths, bubble removal cards, and an anti-slip mat. The dividers are also present in the lid to ensure that nothing leaves its compartment during transport. To make it immediately clear what’s inside the box, I designed a logo and incorporated it into the lid. Everything is printed without supports. Print the box, lid, and tabs using sturdy materials like PLA or PETG, and if you need the gasket, print it in TPU. For assembly, you’ll need six 30mm M3 screws.
