Description
As this is a remix, please refer to the original for most instructions. Here I only detail my changes.
I suggest you do not print my files, but instead download the SCAD file and use OpenSCAD to export your own print files. See Caveat below.
- Print files have the mini-jack removed
- SCAD files have additional checkboxes for with_mini_jack and with_rca. Unchecking either removes the respective holes for the HiFiBerry card.
I have a HiFiBerry DAC+ RCA which does not have the stereo mini-jack socket installed. I know a version exists that does not have the RCA jacks installed instead. For the former, you can directly print my files, for the latter, you can take the adapted SCAD files and uncheck the with_rca option, render, export, slice and print.
The printed case has a lot of dead space – probably for the XLR sockets – that could be removed. I only realised this after I had printed it. In PieterB's original photos that dead space isn't present. An improvement to the SCAD file would be to remove this dead space automatically when with_xlr is unchecked.
I suggest you don't print my files, but instead use the SCAD files with OpenSCAD to export your own print files.
