If you're like me, you may find it difficult to get the vacuum to seal well against the bags to get all the air out. Without a nice flat surface, I find myself struggling to hold the vacuum in the right place or having to move the spool too close to the top, risking making the bag pop open before all the air is removed. This problem is particularly bad when the spool is at lower levels.

That's why I created the Vacuum Seal Buddy, to help give you a flat surface to push the vacuum against to ensure you get the best seal to remove all the air! Optimized for 3D printing, this prints in 30 minutes, with the option of 1, 3, or 5 pack of Vacuum Seal Buddies! No supports, no fuss. Just grab and go.

Each Vacuum Seal Buddy will live inside the bag with your filament, so printing one per bag is required, but the ease and quality makes it worth every gram of plastic. (<15 grams each)

Instructions:

Place filament into bag.

While the bag lays flat, place Vacuum Seal Buddy, vent holes facing up, into the top corner near the valve and close the bag.

(For best moisture reduction, add desiccant pack)

Pinch the Vacuum Seal Buddy under the valve and place vacuum on the flat surface.

Vacuum the air out.

Profit.
