"Tires changed? Check the lights!" hint sign

Within the last weeks I saw some cars in the complete dark in the morning driving on German Autobahn (highways) without any lights turned on the cars. It seems that this happens often in October and November when some drivers get their tires changed during a day and don't check if the lights are turned on again after the tire change service…

This year I noticed this for me too. I drove to my tire change service in an afternoon when it was not dark yet in October and then the next day in my parking garage I noticed that they forgot to turn the automatic light function back on.

I had such a situation again today morning on an Autobahn that someone in front of me drove super slow on the highway without any light turned on and I had to break really hard because I was driving around 210km/h (130mph) and the other car around 60km/h (37mph)… 🙈

To not forget this another time and for those of you who do not want to forget this security related action too in future I made this little sign which you can place in the cockpit when you drive to the tire change service notifying you after the service to check the light again.
