Sink Drain Strainer with Plug

A versatile sink drain strainer designed for sinks with an Ø82, Ø86, or now Ø90mm diameter, featuring an integrated plug. The press-fit design accommodates a drain plug stem that fits most modern drains (Ø8mm) and includes a gasket for a secure seal, allowing you to plug the drain without removing the strainer. This innovative design prevents clogs while simplifying water retention. Assembly is quick, and the strainer can be glued for added durability.

Recommended materials

• Strainer & Stem: PETG (ideal being normally food-safe and heat-resistant)
• Plug: TPU

Settings

• Layer height: <0.2mm.
• Supports: Not required.

Assembly Instructions:

1. Print all parts as per the printing recommendations.
2. Place the plug onto the bottom with the lip side of the plug towards the strainer.
3. Press-fit the drain plug stem into the hole on the strainer.
4. Optionally, apply a small amount of glue for added security if the press fit feels loose.
5. Test the strainer and plug in your sink to confirm proper sealing and functionality.

Maintenance:

• Regular Cleaning: Rinse thoroughly after use to remove debris. Use mild soap and a soft brush for cleaning.
• Deep Cleaning: Soak in a vinegar-water solution monthly to dissolve hard water deposits. PETG components can even be cleaned in the dishwasher.
• Inspect and Replace Gasket: Periodically check the gasket for wear and replace if necessary.
• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Use non-abrasive cleaners to preserve material integrity.
