Christmas Lights Hanger Clip

Similar Christmas light hanging clips can be purchased in most big box stores but when you're hanging lights and run out of clips, do you really want to take another trip to the store just for Christmas light hanging clips?

I needed a few more hanging clips and found it easier to make a clip similar to the ones that I was using but with a little more space for wire hanging and better “digging in” to prevent sliding off.  These clips take 20 minutes or less to print and easily snap onto typical eaves to hang Christmas lights strung along the eaves.  

PETG will yield a more flexible clip but PLA worked fine for me, although stiff.  

Slicer Settings

• Layer height - 0.28
• Wall line count - 2 (2 > less flexibility)
• Top layers - 4
• Bottom layers - 4
• Infill density - 10% (10 > less flexibility)
• Infill pattern - lines
