Firefighter Helmet Shield - Editable

THIS IS A MULTICOLOR AMS PRINT

This is the shield for a firefighter helmet. I've included two options. One with curved name plates and another with just a straight name plate. The straight name plate is editable in Bambu Studio

For the Straight Name Plate X1C File

To change the name.

Open the OBJECTS tab

Right click the Text_Shape and select Edit Text

Make sure the selection is set to Horizontal and not Surface. Change the text in the box that pops up.

You can also change the spacing and text size if the name is longer than the box.

To do this, while in the edit mode, the second box down is SIZE. Adjust that to get the size you need for the font.

If the text is no longer centered, you can move it around by clicking on the YELLOW handle (square) above the lettering.

Hold down the mouse button as you move the text. Drag the text to where you want it and let go.

If you had to move the text in any direction see the next instruction.

The text will sit on top of the model, if you prefer it to be flush with the surface, click just the text and select the Move option at the top of the screen.

At the top of the screen is the position window. In the BLUE Z selection enter 2.05 for the position. This will lower the text into the model and be just 0.05mm above the white. At 2.00mm the text and plate interfere with one another.

For the file with both number and name, repeat the process above for each line (number then name).

When done, click anywhere in the build area.

Don't forget to save your new file

To save the new file, select FILE (the three stacked lines) in the upper left corner, select Save Project As and follow the prompts giving the file whatever name you want.

For the other two files without the name you will need to color them

When importing it will ask if you want to scale to mm. Select NO

Next it will as if you want to import as a single item instead of parts. Select YES

To color the file, open the objects tab. Select the pieces and their desired color.

items listed (Body 296-Body 330) are the stitches around the top name banner. Make these white or whatever color you choose.

The other items are named by either part or color. simply select them and choose the color you want them to print.

For the curved, you will need either a software that allows you to curve text, or you'll need to add each letter and adjust it to work in Bambu Studio
