Keychain with NFC Tag Slot

This is a keychain designed with a slot for inserting an NFC tag. Optimal ironing settings were applied, creating a smooth surface finish even on black filament.

For a perfect look, I recommend using colored filaments (the surface appears ideal with colors).

Recommendations:

• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Ironing: topmost surfaces, 25 mm/s, 15%

Instructions:

To print this model:

1. Download the .STL or .3MF file (includes settings for an optimal finish).
2. Slice the model and set a pause at layer 7:

In the “Preview” tab, slide the green bar on the right side of the screen to layer 7, click the “+” symbol, and select “add pause” (see attached image).

3. If the model is already sliced with the correct settings, send it to the printer. The printer will pause at layer 7. Insert the NFC tag into the keychain, then resume printing.

The keychain fits NFC tags with a diameter of 23 mm and a maximum height of 0.28 mm.

If you have an NFC tag with a 25 mm diameter, you can use it by trimming the edges to fit the slot in the keychain. Be careful during trimming to avoid damaging the chip.
