Bird Buddy halo filter for small birds

My feeder is plundered by ring-necked parakeets. They come in numbers leaving only remnants for small birds. They act as bullies and can empty a full tank in less than a day.

I designed this to give small birds a chance to feed.

It's a halo you slide up from the bottom. Stretch it a bit to widen the part around the back tank part. It should fit snug quite easily.

I used 3mm diameter rods I kept from a previous project (found here on Amazon.fr).

• four are 100mm long for the sides
• two are 13mm long
• two are 15mm long
• the top one is 11mm long

Every rod is equipped with a foot to stand on the feeder's sides and a cap to prevent birds from being hurt.

I use PETG for outdoor use durability and stability. Being less brittle than PLA it's also safer and less prone to breaking when you stretch it around the feeder.
