Filament Info Panel - Color and Remaining Weight (fixed to 3 digits e.g. 999 grams). The width is 75 mm approximately. This size is choosen as it fits boxes of the following brands: Prusament, Basic Filament, Real Filament, 3D Jake and probably others as well.
Meant for the box of a spool of approximately 1000 grams.
Consists of 3 part types, so the assembly can be printed with a single extruder:
- Vertical part to carry the digits (white in the pictures).
- Digits to be clicked into the vertical part (matte black and white in the pictures).
- Horizontal part to stick under the filament box (miscellaneous colors in the pictures).
Notes
- The horizontal and vertical part are a tight fit.
- The assembly can be taken apart repeatedly for example when the weight of the spool changes or when it is to be used with a different filament color.
- Initially you will notice that, because of the tight fit, assembling it will require a bit of force. This will improve after a couple of times.
Printing
- Fill density: 15%.
- Fill pattern: Gyroid.
- Filament type: PETG but PLA should work as well.
