Description

For this project:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4707997
I had to find a way measuring temperatures above the 500°C which my IR - thermometer can handle...

This combines an:

  • Arduino nano
  • MAX31855K - module
  • K - type thermocouple rated 0 ... 800°C
  • OLED SSD 1306 128x32 - module
  • 4 screws M3 x 10 up to M3 x 20 will work The files of this thing include the Arduino code I used;
    basically a copy pasted merge of the library examples from Adafruit, which come along when installing the libraries referenced in the Arduino code.
    That's basically the way I can create code ;-)
    I used the library versions which came directly with Arduino IDE library manager.

    Arduino nano and MAX31855 - module go into the bottom of the box; the display to the cover. All held in place with some hot glue.

    Wiring can be taken from Arduino code;
    I just added a small ceramic capacitor for more stable readings.
