Description
Hi,
Here you can find an PTFE Hub for getting through the walls of an enclosure. Since my prusas moved into their own shelf and the dryers are mounted on top, I needed to get through the wooden plank.
In my case it was 25mm, but if you need a special thickness, just let me know.
EDIT: I added 18mm thickness. Tell me if there is another thickness needed.
You will have to drill 5 holes with a diameter greater than 8mm, but you can use the printed part as a template. I used 10mm to be able to move the part around a bit. You can then screw it into your surface with M4 screws. The printed parts will connect in the. Middle of your enclosure wall, so that you can connect the inner PTFE into the hub. After that you can just plug and unpulg the upper part and the filament should easily go through.
The PC4-M10 Push Fits can be screwed directly into the printed part.
I printed it with MMU, just use the “detect parts” feature of prusa slicer. If you want to print it in single color, but want the numbers, just use the “detect objects” feature and remove the number-objects. There should still be the cutted numbers in the part.
