Räuchermann - German Incense Burner

I designed these models with the simple carved or wood turned Räuchermann in mind. They are used to burn incense around the holidays.

I have included 3mf files that have the models painted and in the orientation that I used to print.

The stl files are straight from the CAD software and will need to be oriented for your printer as you like.

Tolerances used are generally .2mm for the parts that fit together. Glue will be required to hold everything in place.

Some sort of heat insulator will be needed in the bottom of the Sitting Santa model to prevent the incense cone from melting the plastic. I use a small ceramic bowl that came with a package of incense cones.

For the small parts (mustache pieces, tobacco pipe piece) I used a .08mm layer height and printed very slowly. For tall parts, I used a 20mm brim with a brim-gap of 0mm.

I also used the connecting pins to prime between filament changes (flush into object setting in Orcaslicer)

The beard for the sitting Santa looks good with fuzzy skin turned on. I added a modifier model to help get the fuzzy skin to appear only on the outer walls of the beard (import the beard, right click, add modifier, import beard modifier, select fuzzy skin on all walls for modifier).

Of course, these models can be painted if your printer doesn't support multimaterial (AMS/MMU).
