Description
Hello, today I bring you the continuation of my biggest build - project of Jawa-ČZ 250/353.02 with sidecar.
The bike is here: https://www.printables.com/model/738743-project-jawa-cz-kyvacka-25035302-part-no1-frame
The sidecar is here: Sidecar Velorex 560 od autora jawarmaniak | Stáhněte si zdarma STL model | Printables.com
Now it's a trailer - specifically the PAV 40 model. I decided on the 40 model instead of the 41 or 40/b model because it has a simpler wheel suspension system. My model has the truck bed lid hinged according model 41. Original one was was held in place by two sheet metal brackets that can be broken very easily.. The hinged lid will be an easier template for 3D printing and assembly.

After printing the parts, you need to remove the upper bolts of the rear telescopic arms and the upper bolts of the rear footrests on the motorcycle.
Insert the towing_device and secure it with the screws. Use M2-12mm screws on the rear telescopic dumpers and M2-10mm screws on the rear foot rests.
Attach the connecting joint to the pav_frame using an M2.5-20 screw.
Place the electrical heat shrink tubing over the frame side tubes. VERY CAREFULLY heat it until it shrinks and forms a "rubber band". You must be very careful not to melt or soften the frame. If this happens, stop immediately, secure the frame in place and let it cool.
Slide the wheel swingarm and secure it with an M3-20 screw.
AND… That's it for now.
I hope you had fun during building and everything went smoothly.
You can look forward to the next part. The 2nd part is under progress right now ;)
