Description
I hate drywall anchors – often rip open drywall to add blocking when I cannot screw into studs. But for cable clips, VHB tape works great .. fast, easy, removable and reliable.
I love those cable clips by @VC_Design .. they are so cute. But the smaller one (4mm) was too hard to flex open. Maybe because the model didn't scale down well, or maybe I'm printing with carbon fiber filament?
In any case, I made a parametric version so you can size them for yourself. The included step file is for a 4mm cable. But the point of this is to make your own. Like the original, use strong double sided tape to secure to a surface.
If you know how to navigate around Fusion 360, it should be easy:
No just kidding … it really is easy:
Measure your cable, make the diameter a smidgen bigger (maybe 0.5mm) and print on its side.
