Description
NOTE: This model is fully functional although not fully completed! I added to printables mainly to archive my work, although others might find is useful.
WARNING: using a mieter saw is inherently dangerous. You MUST NOT use this model when the blade is not fully vertical (90 degree to the mieter base).
Objective: mieter saws - especially cheap ones like parkside - tend to rip the wood with their blade. The reason is that the wood piece you want to cut is not well supported from below and back so when the blade exits from the wood it rips spinters. This could be mitigated using painter's tape, but that quite frustrating to do for all your cuts. This model tries to fix it.
How to use:
This is where the model is not fully completed cause we'd need 3rd stage strips as well, but I was so far too lazy to do this. Nonetheless it drasticly reduces splintering for most the cuts I have to do.
