Description
Holster for an HK VP9 using the rail, which enables easy holstering (and removal) when large attachments are on the rail. The mounting holes are 32mm apart, and fit common Safariland and other belt attachments. There are several hole pairs, so you can adjust the balance and angle as desired. I'm odd: I don't like lights on pistols, I carry flashlights so that rail is rarely used, If needed, you can carry a quick attach light on the holster using the rail and attach as needed. The hold in the trigger guard is intended for a snap for a retention strap.
Print is using Prusament PETG-CF (awesome material) on a Prusa XL, I've printed as 100% fill and 20% flill with 10 layer walls. Amazingly stiff and strong either way. I use a 0.3 layer on the supports for this material, or the supports tend to stick too well.
The print has a “foot” that needs to be cut/ground off of the front of the rail. I had some issues with it “curling” while printing without it. Ended up using the PETG-CF for supports as well after trying to use PLA for supports because the PETG and PLA were not sticky enough for a good rail pattern to print upside down.
