No modifications are required on the telescope. It adds minimal focus distance so it's possible to focus to infinity with most eyepieces.
BOM
- 2 M3x5x4 heat set inserts
- 2 M3x10 socket head screws
Instructions
- Print without support with 0.1mm layers. You really need 0.1mm layers because the threads are very fine. You can use a brim if your bed adherence is low.
- Install the heat set inserts in the side holes.
- Insert the screws in the heat set inserts.
- Unscrew the original eyepiece holder (the black ring at the top of the focuser tube with two screws).
- Screw the new one and enjoy!
