Description
this is the best model as of now and its a world of difference with the other one. the fact that you dont need to spend hundreds of hours more to print the net pods, simply use cheap commercially available one is amazing! you can buy 50 net cups for 5$ online… i printed another one of these towers in the past and it costed me 30$ in filament just for the net pods. the original design isnt even that good and waste alot of space and plastic. the plants are way too deep inside of it.
WARNING: there are missing .stl in order to have a functioning tower. you might need to also find and print those:
i am re-uploading it for archival purposes
the original creator of this style of tower strangely removed everything from the internet. now only remain remixes and re-uploads. this shows the importance of having backups of your most important projects like this.
Thank you to the original creator!
“The 6 mouth module is for plants that need less space, cuttings, seedlings, etc.
I use pool noodles slices instead of rockwool and 2" net cups. These are reusable and cheaper. Net cups are a hassle to clean. I don't like the texture of rockwool and they are expensive and single use. You can poke paper clips in to the pool noodle to hold it on to the lip of the module mouth.
I renamed files that other people created:
3MouthModule.stl is just Module.stl by archipelagourbanfarms, the original poster https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2403922/files
Module-BaseAdapter.STL is just Module_Adapter.STL by boundarycondition
TopReservoir.STL is just "Dispenser_Module_Internal.STL" by boundarycondition
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3405964/files
tomato can adaptor v2.stl fits a 105 oz tin can
If you are going to print a spray system, you don't need the top reservoir.
Sorry if I left anything out.”
