Description
A simple two part cleat for hanging a small canvas that makes hanging a multiframe installation easy. Use two picture-hanging nails (or small brads in a pinch) to attach the vertical part to the wall. Then, attach the second part to the frame using another pair of brads. Finally, put the frame on the wall. Done.
This cleat should be good for most common sized frames, similar to the basic picture hook and wire combination. I also included two shim sizes, one (16mm) to address the specific size difference in my frames, and a second (5mm) that should be more generally useful.
The art shown here is a mosaic of 9" acrylic canvases, each titled 'Celtic Home Protector' by Kelly Green.
Finally, the model is here too, posted as a step file.
