TinyWhoop Gates - PVC Pipe Connector For Any Size of Pipe

Description

Fully customisable to suit any diameter of PVC pipe and to suit your own printer tolerances.
Accurately calculates the length you need to cut your PVC pipe to in order to achieve a specific dimension (see OpenSCAD console output).
Turn the connectors on/off to produce just the connectors you require
No Supports required - all versions except the 6-way will print without the need for supports.
Optional holes for routing LED wiring

Download / open the file in OpenSCAD
Measure the internal diameter of your pipe (in millimeters)
Add approx 0.4mm to allow for an interference fit and for printer tolerances
Change the other settings as you see fit
Render a 1-way connector, save as STL, slice and send to printer
Adjust pipe_internal_diameter setting and repeat steps 4 - 5 until you are happy with the fit
Print all your connectors
Check the console output (only available in OpenSCAD) to see what length to cut your PVC pipes to
Assemble and go fly!

pipe_internal_diameterr - Internal diameter of your pipe (measure several and average them)
backstop_length - Prevents the pipes from interfering with each other, set to at least the wall thickness of the pipe
connector_length - Distance the 3d printed connector will insert into the pipe
chamfer_connectors -Cuts a sloped face into the connector to ease assembly
connect_front - Enables the front connector
connect_back - Enables the back connector
connect_left - Enables the left connector
connect_right - Enables the right connector
connect_top - Enables the top connector
connect_bottom - Enables the bottom connector - you will need support for this one
hollow - Allows for running wires through the connectors
gate_width_mm - The centre to centre size of the gate - check the console for the calculated pipe length
