Bird nest platform for 3/4" trim

Bird nest platform for 3/4" trim.  Somewhat whimsical platform for some birds that like to nest above a window on ¾" trim.  Hats are not included in the model, but the pegs are in place.  I used 3" long interior construction screws to drill into the siding and attach the platform to the nest, then took some spare gutter aluminum holders, trimmed those down with a grinder and bent the ends up by hand for extra heavy duty support.  It can get very windy here.  The interior of the platform is recessed and has little spikes that I compressed the nest into so it wouldnt blow away.  I then added a tiny address plaque just for fun along with the tiny bird hats.  The stove pipe is designed a la the Little Man of Disneyland to those of you familiar with the story and that magical place.  I will be putting a nest cam up too before they come back in the spring so we can watch them hatch and grow!  Thanks for checking out the model and enjoy!
