Crude/Quick/Simple sandwich soldering fume extractor 140mm

Quick and simple sandwich construction for fume extractor using 140mm fan.

Needed something to suck fumes away from my face while soldering and didn't like other over engineered designs that uses a lot of plastic and unnecessary electronics (speed control etc…)

My design has no switches, speed controls. Just 12V fan powered via wall adapter.
Works pretty good from more than 10cm distance. It uses 6mm thick activated carbon sheets to take some nasty stuff out of the air.

You can print more stages and use more layers if you want.

It is not proper way to clean de soldering fumes from the air. I have air purifier with all of the necessary filters running in the same room.

Remember to print meshes without top and bottom shell layers. Play around with percentage infill or shape.

Hardware: I have used M4x50mm screws and nuts.
